Prawn Skewers with Cava

Cava is our favourite to pair up with the Prawn Pinchos twin pack. The wine equally well tames the chilli heat but also stands up to the chilli and lemongrass marinade

  1. Heat the prawn pinchos, according to pack instructions, then lay out on a slate or serving platter
  2. Cava is enjoying a great resurgence at the moment, and for good reason. This Cava is made in exactly the same way as Champagne, but costs half the price
  3. As well as the cost, the flavour match works in our favour too – perfectly suiting both the chilli and lemongrass and the lemon and coriander  prawns
  4. The intense flavours and fine, persistent bubbles don’t overwhelm the delicate prawn, but stand up to the chilli and lemongrass marinade.  In addition the creamy, refreshing finish cleanses the palate and tames the chilli heat
